Intellectual Property

Your business ‘product’ is all about ideas – intangibles. So how do you make sure you can protect your product just as well as someone whose product is something tangible, that can be locked behind security gates until someone pays for it? It’s ‘intellectual property’ that lets you do just that – perhaps the most unattractive name ever assigned to a highly prized and effective tool. Why not just say ‘rules for getting paid for the stuff we make’? Anyway, it’s important and you should know at least a little about it. If things get serious, you need to find a good IP lawyer.
