Crowdfunding

Crowdfunding is a way of raising finance by asking large numbers of people for small amounts of money via the internet. The funders get different types of value in return, from equity to ‘rewards’ related to the project, to the satisfaction of donating to a project they want to support. Crowdfunding is a great option for start-ups and early stage companies as funders require relatively little business track record compared to other types of funders.
